The Fair is the most recent production of Masca Theater and it is a strange mixture of mystery and derision, cheerfulness and sadness, worldliness and uncanniness. With its eight tents in which very strange things happen, The Fair lures its spectators to enter the world of illusion and experiment, among other things, with The Dance of the Skeleton, The Smoke Dress, The Bearded Woman, the Dragon and the Golden Apples, Aladdin’s Lamp, Da Vinci’s Octagon.
A fascinating dance show with pyrotechnics, where the professional artists from Drum’n’Fire combine juggling and choreography with great musical rhythms. After performing at Street Delivery 2018, Waha Festival and Horezu Streetfair, Drum’n’Fire brings a fire symphony on an exotic drums rhythm to the B-FIT in the Street! festival.

The art or walking on stilts goes back to the 18th century, in Belgium, when hunters used to fight each other suspendend on stilts, using only their elbows and shoulders. The ability of walking on stilts has eversince evolved into an artistic expression. The workshop makes use of the children’s capacity to concentrate, their grace and equilibrium by making simple exercises that help them understand the basics of walking on stilts
Fun Science is the best European company in the domain of education and entertainment for children; its purpose is to stimulate the little ones’ curiosity and imagination by means of entertaining and educational scientific experiences, during which they get to understand the importance of science and its effects on the surrounding world. Guided by the Wacky Teacher, children discover the effects of big chemical reactions, they experiment, and they learn while they play with notions of physics and chemistry.
The Sailors. Going Back to Sea is a show by Mihai Mălaimare, a show which puts forth a stunning potpourri of fiddle and party music from the repertoire of artists such as Zavaidoc, Maria Tănase, Romica Puceanu, Ileana Sărăroiu, Ioana Radu. The cheerful atmosphere is completed by puppets and thematic dances about responsible work in a mess hall.
Creation workshop for children’s development with the help of techniques involving dolls and drama classes. The little ones make dolls from wood spoons, using natural fabrics with traditional patterns. The workshop Hodornktronk’s World is intended for children in the 2 and 16 age bracket.
Carnival on water with surrealist scenes which promise to impress the public with the actors’ light and fire game, with cars on water, floating islands, cages, animals, and fantastic characters. From Sydney to Chicago, Seoul or London to the swamps of Camargue or the harbor-towns in Russia, French company Ilotopie has the reputation of turning rivers, lakes, and docks into fluid scenes for spectacular theater productions in the open air, with a strong visual impact.
ONE TIME PERFORMANCE
A 50-minute trip to a surrealist dimension in which the main characters of Hotel Watercage are in a perpetual quest for happiness. Entrapped in cages or suspended above the crowds, they go farther and farther from the surrounding reality. Accompanied by opera singers and live music, the dwellers of Watercage Hotel fight in order to free themselves from their own thoughts and to distance themselves from the past in a show of aerial acrobatics full of poetry.
The workshop with elements of clownery and commedia dell’ arte for children proposes group games and pair games, dancing, tricks, exercises, and stunts. The workshop is intended for children in the 3 to 5 age bracket, and, depending on the age, it teaches the little ones the clowns’ salute, Arlecchino’s jump, Pantalone’s lesson, the old people’s duel, the clowns’ dance etc.
Cișmigiu Park – The Walnut Bridge
An excellent educational instrument, Discovery Planetario travels around the world and attracts a diverse public, providing intensive visual and auditory experiences. In comparison with the flat screen of a cinema hall, the cupola format of a planetarium occupies 100% of the visual field of the spectator who is thus completely enthralled by the images, the colors, and the sounds of the projections which feature trips to the human body, space missions, the evolution of the first unicellular beings, Galileo’s experiments, and celestial phenomena.
University Square
Five actors, 1.000 liters of polyurethane foam, music, and two hours of show. Completely dressed up in white, five unusual characters are entrapped in five separated cages. Their costumes start to send out foam of various colors, which slowly grows and solidifies, making the characters immobile in their cages. It is up to the public whether they want to help them get free or not.
Rome Square, Lipscani Street, Lipscani Street – Eugen Carada Street
Created by Argentinean director Roberto Strada, the night show combines aerial acrobatics with the light show. 12 acrobats build a hypnotic universe on a high metallic structure turned into one of the most spectacular vertical stages of street theater.
Les Lilas dancers represented Spain at international street theater festivals in China, France, Italy, and Hungary. The spectacular carnival costumes are made of peacock, ostrich, and pheasant feathers, accessorized with shiny details.
