Indian Pipes and Drums

Indian Pipes and Drums, the first Scottish band made up of Indian instrumentalists, was founded in 1972, in London, and today it has two hundred fifty members in the Unites States, Kenya, the Great Britain, and India. Known for their philanthropic activity, the pipers and the drummers of Indian Pipes and Drums performed in events around the world, from the anniversary of the Golden Jubilee and of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen Elisabeth the 2nd, in London, to the fund raising for the 2015 earthquake in Nepal, and to the campaign they organized against elephant hunting in Africa. Dressed up in traditional military Scottish outfits, the musicians of Indian Pipes and Drums play Scottish traditional songs, patriotic hymns, and international hits.
