Bedizzole Marching Band

Bedizzole Marching Band

Founded in 1880 under the name “The Band of the Citizens” from Bedizzole, the Italian band is one of the few that have been active for three centuries. At the beginning, the band used to play on the occasion of the religious ceremonies within the Italian commune, and then it was invited to participate in local festivals in the neighboring countries. In the 1950s, the number of members increased considerably and the band became famous outside the province of Brescia. In 2006 it was renamed Bedizzole Marching Band, and in 2013 it won the third place in the Competition of  IMBS Parades in Monza. Today it comprises fiftymembers and it is invited to take part in festivals, carnivals, and parades in Italy and Europe.
