Since 2014 Stefaan van Uden and his colleague Ferry Melis have been traveling around the world to put on MaTTO street theater shows. Highly acclaimed for their humour and for being popular with children, the two Dutch artists will come to Bucharest with their newest project, BITE!, an interactive street theater show which turns the spectators into possible victims of the two pranksters. BITE! urges the passers-by to take the bait of the two artists dressed up as fishermen who are above the crowd and throw a line in the “water”. The two fishermen’s interaction with the public is very funny, both for the children, who always let themselves caught, and for the parents and the by-standers.
