Along with dancers, musicians, and primitive characters, the drummers Batucada from Canary Islands bring the Brazilian samba rhythms with African influences to the streets of Bucharest. Unforgettable as they are thanks to their tribal costumes, the drummers will be seen in Bucharest only during the last weekend of FITSB, while on Saturday, the 4th of August, they will join the parade of the festival on Calea Victoriei

Batucada is a Brazilian samba style influenced by African rhythms which is performed on percussion instruments. The drummers from Batucada Timba are among the best in the world and they will bring along the energy and the frenzy specific to the carnivals in Rio de Janeiro.
